STEREOPHONICS RETURN WITH NEW SONG, “FLY LIKE AN EAGLE
Kind was recorded in just eleven days, using minimal studio techniques, overdubs or production, providing a captivating and candid snapshot of one of the UK’s most enduring bands. The performances are led by Kelly Jones’ distinct and emotive vocals, revealing a stripped-back vulnerability that underpins the honest and hopeful album.
The emotionally charged first single, “Fly Like An Eagle” depicts a coming-of-age tale that plays like an ode to endless possibility. The first taster from Kind comes with a brand-new music video about finding your place in the world, staring Peaky Blinders' Charlie Creed-Miles. Watch Below:
Kelly Jones says: “Fly Like An Eagle was one of the first (songs) I wrote and I feel it covers a lot of ground on the record and the line came, ‘wanna fly like an eagle, and dare to reborn’ - not in a religious sense but it’s about changing and growth, and learning not relying on the comfort zones of your life. And as people, we all morph into new and different versions of ourselves. We don’t have to stay the same.”
With unparalleled longevity and continued success, Stereophonics are a band woven into the fabric of popular music. Their upcoming album, Kind is out on October 25th.
