GARY CLARK JR. RELEASES NEW TRACK THE LAND
We all know and love Gary Clark Jr. His guitar skills are beyond (both Barack Obama & Prince think so and we can't argue with that) and his eclectic bluesy sound brings something special to every track that his talented hand touches.
He's played with The Rolling Stones, rocked Coachella crowds, and Buddy Guy thinks he could be the man to save the blues.
It's been a while since he's blessed us with some new music of his own, so we were pretty excited to hear he's sending a whole album our way, especially when the first track is this good.
His latest "This Land" just dropped, and it delivers a socially relevant, transcendentally ambitious and musically rich declaration as unapologetic, undeniable and unique as he is. This tune is powerful, and the music video drives it home through a poignant visual directed by award-winning filmmaker Savanah Leaf.

Let's look back at a few occasions where GCJ blew us away...
His iconic performance of "Bright Lights" at Crossroads back in 2010 went viral with over eleven million views. If you haven't already seen it, check it out, talk about inspiring.
In 2014 he was awarded a Grammy for his incredible performance of "Please Come Home", and we can see why, this guy has the chops and his guitar skills are heaven sent.
And his grungey cover of The Beatle's "Come Together" pretty much made the soundtrack for Justice League.
